 Ergonomics is the science and practice of designing jobs or workplaces to match the capabilities and limitations of the human body.  It involves systematic study of people at work with the objective of improving the work situation, the working conditions and the tasks performed.  Work systems are comprised of humans, the tasks they do, the tools and technologies they use, the organization of the work, and the work environment  Ergonomics is not only a science, but it is also a philosophy—a way of thinking.  This training aims to create awareness among employees on the health effects of poor ergonomics and how they can be prevented Therefore, implementing basic principles of ergonomics at workplace has the following benefits. - Safer jobs with fewer injuries - Increase efficiency and productivity - Improve quality and fewer errors - Improve morale
