Construction and Manufacturing works remain among Major causes of fatalities and injuries Worldwide. Common cases include; Falls, Being caught in or between things, Electrocutions, Failure of Lifting equipment, Being hit by Vehicles or heavy moving equipment, burns from fires or explosions, Cancer from being exposed to hazardous substances . This training guides employers and employees in taking; simple as well as practical measures to reduce the risk of getting accidents that results into; Deaths, Injuries and occupational or work related Illnesses while working in construction sites. In order to provide a safer, healthy and most efficient working environment which will eventually benefit individuals and companies involved in Construction industry; the Authority is inviting; Engineers, Technicians, Supervisors, Consultants, ◊ Building Service Specialists and Foremen involved in CONSTRUCTION, DEMOLITION, STRUCTURAL ALTERATION OR REPAIR of; Buildings, docks, harbors, inland navigation, tunnels, bridges, viaduct, waterworks, reservoir, pipelines, aqueduct, sewers, railway lines or siding, gasholder AND ALSO sewage works or painting
