Participant will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to assess the hazards presented by the use and handling of chemicals in their workplace and to be able to identify the controls required. Also, participant will be able to develop the basic understanding of legislative governing chemicals , to incorporate risk management principles to manage chemical associated risks · Furthermore, participant will understand the basic part of chemicals; storage, transportation, labelling, handling and disposal ; Routes of exposure and risks to health; Moreover, trainee will understand the requirements for Labels and Signs, Safety Data Sheets and chemical classification group.
